Pre-setup

Hi, this is my Ram Watcher

To continue, first make a groq api key

download all 4 files (ignore clean) and make it into folder in windows explorer

SETUP

1. Install Python 3.9+ (from python.org), make sure “Add to PATH” is checked.
2. Open a terminal in this folder and run: pip install -r requirements.txt
3. Get a FREE API key from https://console.groq.com/ (sign in, then “API Keys” > “Create API Key”). No credit card required.
4. Set it as an environment variable (PowerShell): setx GROQ_API_KEY “your-key-here” Close and reopen your terminal after this so it picks up the variable.
5. Run it: python ram_watcher.py

In python ram_watcher.py file:

It’s preset to “DRY_RUN=True” which means that it wont actually do anything on your system, it’s just showing you what it will do If you do choose to use it, change dry run to “False”
